
Papers are graded on the following basic criteria and each will have a detailed rubric provided before the work is due.
- Student answered the prompt
- Student had a clear thesis statement
- Student stayed on point throughout
- Student’s writing followed a logical progression
- Student used correct grammar and spelling
- Student’s work met length requirements
- Student cited any and all sources using MLA format.
Other tips:
- Large headings or footers do not count toward page length.
- Write more than one draft. Quality papers have been proof read.
- All papers that are handed in late, are subject to the the Late Work Policy.
